We are aware of 5-10% of all our thoughts while the other 90-95% comes from the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind keeps us breathing, maintains our homeostasis, protects us from danger, and stores information—things that we have seen and heard, past experiences, emotions, and memories. These bits of information then shape our beliefs, personalities, and preferences, and silently propel us to make decisions, act and react in our lives.
